BEATS FOR PEACE
Beats for Peace was created by HER Music in 2001 to raise awareness of Human Rights concerns focusing on Hunger, Homeless and Poverty within our underground dance community and beyond. Charities we have fundraised for in the past have been the Burma Humanitarian Mission, Big Mountain, the U'wa Indians in Colombia, and the Union Rescue Mission, a Homeless Shelter in Los Angeles. The Beats for Peace Project now resumes operations in the Bay Area with parnters, Freestyle Movement www.freestylemovement.com, Everytone Music Group, www.everytonemusic.com,Satya Dharma Music www.satya-dharma.com and the International Humanities Center, www.IHCenter.org, our fiscal sponsor. If you would like to contribute to our cause, visit our DONATE page, purchase the first benefit album, Aire Redtree's CD's release WHY, a benefit for World Hunger Year, www.aireredtree.bandcamp.com, or come out and dance at one of our monthly event's "Who's Yer Mama" or "Beats for Peace" here in the Bay Area. We thank you kindly for your support!
